    Awards and Recognition of Pediatric Associates of Frisco TX

    Dr. Sreemdevi Ramakrishnan, fondly known as “Dr. Sree,” is a distinguished board-certified pediatrician with over 15 years of experience. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, where she excelled as Chief Resident.
    After her residency, Dr. Sree built a successful pediatric practice in Illinois. She expanded her expertise by taking roles as a pediatric hospitalist and managing newborns in Level 1 and Level 2 NICUs. She also served as the medical director at Walter Lawson Children’s Home, caring for over 100 children with chronic and complex health conditions.

    Dr. Sree is renowned for her holistic approach to care, embodying the philosophy that “Food is medicine, and medicine is food.” She integrates diet and nutrition into her treatments, particularly for allergies, asthma, and ADHD, aiming to enhance childhood development and nutrition. Her proactive stance on preventive care through nutritional guidance has set her apart in her field.

    Her commitment to excellence was recognized when she became the inaugural recipient of the Excellence in Asthma Care Blue Ribbon Award in Illinois. In 2018, she founded Pediatric Associates of Frisco and was recognized as a Top Doctor the same year. She was also nominated for the Best Pediatrician in Dallas by D Magazine in 2023. Pediatric Associates of Frisco actively participates in the local community as a member of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
    Driven by her passion for pediatric healthcare, Dr. Sree founded the ThriveKids Foundation in 2024 to address children’s health needs, engage the community, and raise awareness. Her leadership at the Autism Spectrum Frontiers event showcases her ability to leverage her expertise to foster understanding and support for autism.
