Our 5 Star Reviews
Truly, children are the future, and nobody knows that better than pediatricians. As their doctors, we watch them grow up from the beginning until adulthood. During that time, children may become ill. They also require routine examinations to ensure they’re growing and developing properly. Pediatric Associates of Frisco gives Frisco and the surrounding Texas region access to an experienced pediatrician who genuinely cares about the well-being of children.
Who We Are
Pediatric Associates of Frisco is a top 5 star rated pediatric care clinic located at 9191 Kyser Way, Suite 405, Frisco, TX 75033 between Main St and Kyser Way, also serving the surrounding areas of Little Elm, Prosper, and The Colony.
Our children’s health clinic provides a wide variety of high-quality services and treatments for children of all ages. Our Board-Certified pediatrician, Dr. Sreemdevi Ramakrishnan, also known as Dr. Sree, completed her residency at the University of Illinois’ College of Medicine, located in Peoria, IL. There, Dr. Sree earned the title of Chief Resident of Pediatrics in 2007. Additionally, she was awarded the title of Outstanding Chief Resident of Pediatrics. She spent more than 15 years taking care of pediatric patients. At one point during her career, she was a pediatric specialist and took care of children in both the level I and level II NICU.
Genuinely, she believes in the power nutrition has on a child’s overall health and well-being. Frequently, she examines how a child’s diet affects his or her overall life. Then, she makes suggestions on how to change a child’s diet to improve his or her health.
About Our Services
We provide our patients with routine wellness screenings. We ask that parents bring their kids to our office at least once per year after the child reaches three years of age. Infants, however, require more frequent visits and so do one and two-year-olds. Here are the ages we request children visit our office:
- 3 to 5 days
- 1 month
- 2 months
- 4 months
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 24 months
- 30 months
- 3 years
Routine screenings are the ideal time to ensure your child is up to date on all of his or her vaccines. We’ll discuss with you the vaccines we recommend and why. We help you make an informed decision on which inoculations you want your child to have in addition to when. We’re able to conduct routine physicals for sports and other activities as well.
Another important service we offer is sickness visits. At sickness visits, we can diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses. We may prescribe an antibiotic to treat an infection while, for some issues, we may only use a medication to manage symptoms.
We’re even able to manage some chronic ailments such as allergies and asthma. Our physician determines your child’s allergies through testing. Then, she either prescribes a medication and/or educates you about your child’s allergies. For asthma, our pediatrician will use spirography, which measures your child’s breathing. She may prescribe an albuterol rescue inhaler or other treatments to help your child breathe.
Why Choose Us
At our office, we treat children of all ages. We even provide newborn care. This means you may utilize our services for the entire duration of your child’s life. We have experience in this scope of practice. Not to mention, we strive to make your visits with us pleasant for as well as your child. We supply our patients with the option of same-day sick visits, so you may call our office and get an appointment the same day.
