At Pediatric Associates of Frisco, we offer a free pediatric prenatal visit with our doctor and provide you information on how to care for yourself and what to expect for the baby after birth.

If your child is born premature, they are going to need additional support to care for their unique needs. Parents of babies who are born prematurely often fear the unknown and are unsure of proper care for their new baby. We can offer you resources to ensure their optimal growth and development, so they can catch up with their peers.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends routine age appropriate well care visits as a way for pediatricians and parents to serve the needs of children. The benefits of well child checks include prevention of diseases by monitoring your child’s health and by tracking growth and development. It also serves as an opportunity to raise concerns with your doctor regarding eating habits, sleeping, social behaviors and learning skills of your children. During these visits your child can also receive scheduled immunizations for preventing life threatening diseases as endorsed by CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics. We follow well-established guidelines for these visits. Plus, they should always stop by for a yearly flu shot.

This helps detect amblyopia risk factors in your child who is too young to do a visual acuity testing. Amblyopia is the leading cause of blindness in children. Hence the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends yearly photo screening for children between 1 and 3 years of age. We meet these recommendations by providing this service during their well child visits.

If your child does not have a regular dentist by the time their teeth come in, we provide a complete oral evaluation during their regular checkups. We give fluoride varnish dental treatment at our clinic until you find the dentist that is right for them. Please note we are not a replacement for a pediatric dentist, but we can suggest some outstanding local doctors if needed.

Pediatric Associates of Frisco is located at 9191 Kyser Way, Suite 500, Frisco, TX 75033. We are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and on Saturday from 9 am to noon. We also provide after-hours services through our After-Hours Nurse advice line to cater to those unpredictable childhood medical needs. Our clinic accepts most major insurances.
